After Mash Burnedead’s confrontation with Magia Lupus, the truth about his powers is exposed. However, the Bureau of Magic reacts swiftly, summoning Mash before a council of Divine Visionaries who decree that Mash must face the consequences and be executed. Yet, an enigmatic shadow organization named Innocent Zero intervenes, demanding that Mash be spared.

Despite proving his ability to handle Innocent Zero’s threats, the Divine Visionaries remain resolute in their decision. Fortunately, unexpected support arrives from Divine Visionary Rayne Ames and Headmaster Wahlberg Baigan, who manage to postpone Mash’s execution until Innocent Zero is neutralized. Mash is granted a reprieve on one condition: he must be chosen as the Divine Visionary candidate by the year’s end, setting the stage for new challenges and alliances.
